MARKITTUDE, the marketing club of MIT College of Management is working for development of the students who are the future Marketers by instilling in them, the right kind of Marketing attitude and professionalism. The vision of the club is to develop the young marketers who will bridge the gap between Industries and Academics by re-engineering the Traditional Marketing Practices and creating Milestones in the field of marketing by setting outstanding benchmarks.
The core team of Markittude includes Prof. Dr. Bhupinder Chahal (Mentor), Mr. Rohit Bawankar (Head) and Mr. Mithilesh Baldawa (Secretary), along with twelve student members from both junior and senior batches.
Markittude conducted various activities in the academic year 2011-2012, which are as follows-
I. National Level Marketing Symposium :
Marketing Symposium was conducted in three phases on 30th Sept.2011, 8th Oct.2011 and 15th Oct.2011 wherein eminent Industrialists like Mr. Rahul Arora, Barclays Bank; Mr. Niraj Jawanjal, Alta Moda; Mr. Alok Shrivastava, Lokmat Media; Mr. Siddhant Narayan, Nike India; Mr. Valerian D’Souza, Xebec Communications; Mr. Niranjan Mantri, Systematix Shares and Stocks Ltd. etc guided students on various aspects of Sales Management, Branding and Advertising.
II. The Advertising Day :
“The Advetising Day” was organized on 16th Jan.2012 under the activities of “PRATIBIMB-2012” where students participated to show their creativity in advertising. The theme for the advertisement was “Go Green”, an environmental concern.
The club is planning to conduct few more activities in the month of February and March 2012 related to Market Research and Guest lecture for students.
